Vision & Mission
Welcome to Washington Daylight Lodge No. 14 F.A.A.M., with origins among the oldest regular Lodges chartered by the Grand Lodge of Washington, DC. Since our heritage also includes the original daylight lodge, King Solomon Lodge No. 31, we continue their tradition of meeting during daylight hours. This allows those whose jobs are at night e.g., printers, musicians, first responders, etc., to be able to enjoy the benefits of Freemasonry through attendance at and participation in regularly scheduled meetings.
Our Vision
To unite men of diverse religious beliefs and cultures into one common society of friendship and brotherhood under the guidance of the Grand Architect of the Universe.
Our Mission
Create a harmonious and productive community through the application of Masonic moral values and the practice of benevolence, intellectual development, and mutual respect. At Washington Daylight Lodge No. 14, we are dedicated to fostering a community that embraces diversity, upholds Masonic traditions, and works towards a shared vision of international peace and brotherhood.
Come Join Us
Fellowship being one of our fraternity's basic tenets, we get the opportunity practice this during a bountiful breakfast prepared and served prior to every meeting starting at 8:30 am. Our stated meetings are on the 1st Saturday of every month, except for July and August when we “go dark.” - We'd love to see you!
